The Extra Light Project:

  The central event of The Extra Light Project involved a group of 100 theologians and clergymen who formed the core audience for a smoke and light installation in the Noorderkerk, Amsterdam.

The Extra Light Project was interpreted by two working groups, one comprised of artists, scholars and writers, and the other comprised of theologians and clergymen.

The Netherlands. Our discussions were published in from of a book Becoming a Christian that appeared on the occasion of The Extra Light Project.

On Certainty

Three-channel video installation

 

The main character in this three-channel video installation is confronted under a strong spotlight with series of questions that he has to answer. Every time when the character believes that he gave a correct answer, he receives the punishment to run for 25 seconds.

  Reconstruction of the workers' memorial proposed the rebuilding of a fictive memorial for the contemporary working class of Switzerland on Plainpalais in Geneva.

  Schwabo

Video
  The video work Schwabo is a documentary portrait of Radenko Piljagic nicknamed Schwabo, a musician, visual artist and poet from Ivanjska, a village near Banjaluka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.      
  La Sauveur
2005
Video
  Le Sauveur is recorded at refugee camp AMZ Amersfoort in The Netherlands. People living in the camp were asked to join an audition and to perform one pop-song of their own choice in front of the camera.
The participants chose mostly songs with the religious content.
     
  Clay, Chalk and Cement
2004
Video
  Video recorded on the three different locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina –
a deserted clay excavation, a chalk factory and a World War II memorial park. The history of violence is presented through three different materials that divide the video in to three chapters: Clay, Chalk and Cement.
     
  The Lecture

Video
  Lecture shows one of the exercises of Swedish troops for peacekeeping operations during which Swedish soldiers meet a Croatian actor in the role of Bosnian local commander and listen to his lengthy monologue, almost a lecture, on history, war and relation between Bosnians and foreign peacekeeping forces.      
  Traces

Drawings and photographs
  Apparition, something not of this world that appeared, phantom or ghost, entered reality with an attempt to become a vision – a socially relevant factor. Traces is a graphic presentation of this process

Event
  Event made for Färgfabriken– Centre for contemporary art and architecture in Stockholm. It was constructed as a theatre play in party environment consisting from live sound and image mixing and participation of 12 persons dressed in police uniforms.      
  Ture Arvidsson's sessions
1999
Group research
 

This group research was conducted in collaboration with Ture Arvidsson, a Swedish psychoanalyst who frequently uses hypnosis in his practice.
A group of seven people was directed to take a simultaneous action while being under hypnosis and to create theatre scenes using their own bodies and limited number of props.

  This triptych is based on a graffiti found in a music pavilion in Wittaberg’s park, Stockholm. The triptych was made for the exhibition Quickening at Museum for Contemporary Art in Banjaluka, Bosnia and Herzegovina (1 September-1 October 1998).
