On Certainty |
The main character in this three-channel video installation is confronted under a strong spotlight with series of questions that he has to answer. Every time when the character believes that he gave a correct answer, he receives the punishment to run for 25 seconds. |

Le Sauveur is recorded at refugee camp AMZ Amersfoort in The Netherlands. People living in the camp were asked to join an audition and to perform one pop-song of their own choice in front of the camera. The participants chose mostly songs with the religious content. |
