The video Lecture is made during exercises and preparations of Swedish troops for peacekeeping operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The exercises of Swedish troops are conducted at SwedInt (Sweden International) in Sodertelje, Sweden. SwedInt is a training camp where Swedish soldiers are being prepared for foreign and potentially dangerous environments by being confronted with "the real situation on the ground".

In order to mimic "the real situations on the ground in Bosnia and Herzegovina", Swedish Army employed refugees from former Yugoslavia living in Sweden to act as "locals". Lecture shows one of the exercises during which Swedish soldiers meet a Croatian actor in the role of Bosnian local commander and listen to his lengthy monologue, almost a lecture, on history, war and relation between Bosnians and foreign peacekeeping forces.
